Confidence at Work

Your 12-Week Pathway to Empowerment

Are you tired of feeling miserable at work?
You can feel confident and inspired again
with my 12 weeks program

You used to love your job

It is well suited to your scientific mind and you had ambition.

But something must have gone wrong along the way.

You dread going to work, you don’t find joy or meaning in it anymore.

You lack self-confidence.

You’re afraid your colleagues are going to find out someday that you’re not as smart as they think you are.

When you get home, you’re exhausted and don’t have time to do things with your kids. You yell at them, and then you feel guilty about it…

What’s wrong with you?

Maybe it will get easier when …

  • You will be more experienced at work.
  • You will have a boss that recognizes your accomplishments.
  • You won’t have to take care of your kids’ homework every day.
  • You get that senior position.

Except it doesn’t work that way.

You are in school, facing a pile of homework, and you procrastinate because you’re feeling terrible about it. However, you believe it will become easier after graduation.

It won’t.

You apply for a job and attend your first interview. It’s nerve-wracking; you feel a sinking sensation in the pit of your stomach, and your face flushes. You worry they might not call you back. You reassure yourself that it will get better once you secure a job.

It won’t.

Then, you get promoted, and along with this new role come new responsibilities. It isn’t the best time to feel confident, especially when you are grappling with these unfamiliar tasks. However, you’re certain that it will become much easier in a few months.

Except once again, it doesn’t happen.

At the same time, your friend James is having a very different experience. While you’ve seen him face some challenging moments at school, he never doubts that he will graduate and enjoy a successful career, and that’s precisely what happens.

When he goes for his first interview, he approaches it with the mindset that if it doesn’t work out, there will be other opportunities to find a good job.

Upon his promotion, James is excited about the new things to learn and the challenges that lie ahead.

James isn’t necessarily more successful than you, but he’s enjoying his life and has a greater sense of confidence.

Waiting for your life to change in order to be happy is like chasing the pot of gold at the foot of the rainbow.

You could spend your entire life walking towards it and you’ll never reach it. There will always be new conditions to meet before you can truly feel content.

Should you give up on yourself and just be miserable?

Being happy and self-confident is a skill you can learn

My client L. is a software developer. Before coaching, she had a very low self-esteem and imposter syndrome. She was feeling she was not good enough at work, and she was constantly criticizing herself.

Three months after the end of the program, they cut 30% of all the people at her job, including her. She was in shock, but then so thankful for the timing. She told me that if she’d have gotten this news half a year ago, she would have just gone home, cried, felt bad and gone looking for a job stocking shelves at the supermarket.

But when she got the news she was fine. She immediately contacted a colleague that had offered her a job a couple of months before.  She went through all the interviews in 4 days, and then got the job. A couple of weeks after being laid off she was a team leader with a much higher salary and a 30 min shorter commute.

What has changed for her during the program? It’s her self-confidence. Self-confidence doesn’t equate to thinking you know everything; it’s not about arrogance. Self-confidence is about having trust in your capacity to learn what’s necessary to reach your goals, and to effectively manage your mind and emotions on the journey. It’s the ability to receive constructive feedback without feeling defeated, as it doesn’t define your worth as a person.

How do you develop self-confidence?

Imagine two women, Laura and Sarah,  preparing for a presentation of a new project at work.

Let’s listen to what is happening inside their heads.

Laura: “I’m really nervous about this! The last time I did a presentation, I turned beet red, and it was so embarrassing. I’m afraid it’ll happen again, and my colleagues will think I’m too emotional. Plus, my last presentation ran 10 minutes longer than planned. I have to make this one perfect. If I mess up the facts, they’ll realize I’m not as competent as they thought, and I might even get fired. I’m already feeling ashamed just thinking about it; it’s so embarrassing!”

Sarah: “I’m quite anxious about the upcoming presentation, but that’s alright. It’s natural to be emotional since I’m still adapting to this new role. Everyone was a beginner at some point, and I’m sure my colleagues will understand that. I plan to take 5 minutes to focus on my breathing before the meeting because I know it helps calm my nerves. After my last presentation ran 10 minutes over, I’ve decided to practice it in advance. I’ll also ask James if he can assist me and provide feedback. Ultimately, I’m committed to being kind to myself, no matter how it goes. We all make mistakes, and I’ll learn from mine.”

Who do you think will be the best state of mind to deliver the presentation?
It’s Sarah, isn’t it? You intuitively sense it because she’s speaking to herself in the same supportive manner you would use when helping your best friend prepare for a presentation.
But you didn’t learn to do it for yourself, that’s not what we were taught in school.
I get it.

You’re not alone and I know exactly how to help you make that change.

Self-confidence is achieved by changing the way you are talking to yourself

We do it by developing three mental muscles:

  • Bring awareness to the negative self-talk
  • Develop your ability to have a positive and productive inner dialogue
  • Learn how to switch from one to the other

That’s what you will learn to master in my program.

The program

The initial six weeks of the program are dedicated to comprehending and fortifying the three fundamental mental muscles, laying a robust foundation for your journey. During this phase, I’ll guide you through the ‘Six-Week Foundation’ program crafted by Shirzad Chamine himself. Each week, you’ll gain access to a video where Shirzad delivers a deep experiential exploration of the week’s topic. On Wednesdays mornings, we’ll come together for a group coaching call, providing an opportunity to share your insights, ask questions, and receive coaching. Additionally, you’ll engage in daily 15-minute app-guided practices, tailored to fortify your mental resilience by strengthening neural pathways. These short yet personalized exercises fit easily into your busy daily routine, addressing your unique self-sabotaging patterns.

During the following six weeks of the program, you’ll advance into Shirzad Chamine’s ‘Grow’ program, where you’ll have the opportunity to further customize both the program and your daily practices to suit your specific needs. Our weekly group coaching calls will continue, allowing us to focus on your unique situation and introduce new tools if necessary.

Enroll today to be ready on November 1st!

Our first coaching call is scheduled for Wednesday, November 1st, but we recommend registering well in advance.

  • Within 72 hours of joining, you’ll be able to download the app onto your phone and access the PQ gym to start building strong mental muscles.
  • Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to dive into Shirzad Chamine’s book, available in both PDF and audio formats, giving you ample time to explore it before the official start of the program.
  • I strongly advise taking the saboteur assessment that we will send you prior to the program’s commencement. It is quick and will provide you with a more precise understanding of your negative self-talk.

If you join now, you will be another person at the beginning of 2024

Imagine receiving feedback at work. You will no longer focus on the negative and go into a spintail of self-deprecation and anger. Instead you will recognize how it can help you improve from a self-love place and be grateful for it.

Imagine feeling confident and excited to take on a new project.

When you’re coming back to your family at night you have energy and you’re happy to share what you did that day and to learn about their day. You eat a healthy dinner because you don’t need junk food or a drink to soothe yourself, and you feel calm and happy with your day when going to sleep.

The results of the PQ Program improve both performance and wellness among participants*:

  • 92% are better at teamwork and collaboration
  • 91% manage stress better
  • 90% use mental/emotional energy more effectively
  • 85% increase happiness
  • 84% are better at conflict management
  • 83% improve self-confidence

*Based on survey results from cohort of >2000 Positive Intelligence Program participants after 6 weeks of mental fitness training

What I am adding to this program is all my experience with working with women like you. I will guide you through Shirzad Chamine PQ 6 week program. I will adapt my coaching and the new tools I am teaching you to your needs and the needs of the group. After the initial 6 weeks you’ll know the tools and we can work together for another 6 weeks to solidify your progress.

Is my program the right fit for you?

The program is designed for you if:
  • You’re eager for change and don’t want to postpone enjoying life until later years.
  • You love learning, possess curiosity, and are open to exploring new concepts.
  • You understand that real transformation isn’t a quick fix; you’re ready to delve into new behaviors and thought patterns.

This program may not be suitable if:
  • You’re unable to commit time to the program. While it eventually leads to efficiency gains by reducing self-sabotaging behaviors, initial time and effort are necessary. Life is short, and I want to dedicate myself to helping those who are genuinely prepared to make a significant commitment in order to change their life.
  • You’re not willing to invest in your own personal growth.
  • You’re clinically depressed and you don’t have a therapist. While my program can complement therapy, it’s not a replacement. When in doubt, consult your doctor.
  • You have untreated severe trauma that could make self-introspection risky for your mental well-being.

We will meet on Zoom every Wednesday morning at 9 AM CET.

Shirzad Chamine 6 week program (included in all my formulas)

Week 1: Boost Your Self-Command Muscle

The first week you learn innovative 10-second PQ Reps that boost your self-command. This practice enables you to run your brain, rather than being run by your Saboteur-hijacked brain. Self-command is key to intercepting unhelpful mental habits and rewiring your brain to respond more effectively.

  • Try out and discover PQ Reps that are most effective for you.
  • Reach the minimum target for PQ Reps/day to achieve rewiring goal within 6 weeks.
  • Use the app’s breakthrough PQ Charge Meter to ensure optimal brain activation before important activities.
  • Declare an audacious aspiration–what you want to achieve through this programme.

Week 3: Intercept your Accomplice Saboteurs

This week you intercept and weaken the top accomplice to your Judge Saboteur, identified through the Saboteur Assessment from the following: Avoider, Controller, Hyper-Achiever, Hyper-Rational, Hyper-Vigilant, Pleaser, Restless, Stickler, Victim.

  • Expose your accomplice Saboteur’s hidden lies, limiting beliefs and negative patterns.
  • Reveal this Saboteur’s impact on performance, relationships, and stress.
  • Discover how to quickly intercept this Saboteur before it hijacks you.
  • Rewire your negative neural pathways by redirecting this Saboteur’s response.

Week 5: Boost the Sage Powers

The Sage region of the brain enables 5 primary powers. Analogous to the 3 primary colours, these 5 powers recombine to form all of the emotional intelligence competencies considered crucial to professional success.

  • Augment your mental toolbox with 5 Sage powers.
  • Practise 3 techniques to activate each power.
  • Know when to use which power–right tool at the right time.
  • Boost emotional intelligence through combinations of the 5 primary powers.

Week 2: Intercept the Judge Saboteur

For this entire week, you’ll intercept and weaken the most damaging Saboteur, the Judge. You discover how judging yourself, others, and circumstances is a key source of your stress, and is damaging to your performance. Most participants discover their Judge to be far more prevalent and damaging than they suspected.

  • Expose your Judge’s hidden lies, limiting beliefs, and negative patterns.
  • Reveal your Judge’s impact on performance, relationships, and stress.
  • Practise intercepting your Judge before it hijacks you.
  • Rewire your negative neural pathways by redirecting the Judge response.

Week 4: Shift from Saboteur to Sage

After weakening your Saboteurs, it is now time to strengthen your Sage, the counterpart to your Saboteurs. Your Sage lives in an entirely different part of your brain, generates all your positive emotions, and achieves peak performance through a calm and clear mind.

  • Practise the Sage Perspective that every outcome or circumstance can be turned into a gift and opportunity.
  • Use the 3 Gifts Technique to find the opportunity in setbacks.
  • Replace draining self-judgment with energising self-acceptance and empathy.
  • Boost speed of recovery from failures and setbacks.

Final Session: Sustain the Momentum

In this final session, you discover how to continue using your PQ tools for a variety of work and life applications.

  • Learn how to further apply to peak performance at work, conquering stress, managing conflict, and relationships mastery
  • Discover how to use the PQ app to maintain your new mental muscles and Sage habits
  • Chart your path to keep progressing towards your audacious aspirations
  • Establish support and accountability agreements to sustain your momentum

You are welcome to enroll in the Autonomy Program or the Premium Formula whenever you choose, based on my availability. However, please note that the Confidence at Work Program, being a group program, will only be available until October 25th, 2023 for now.
